Privacy

The Camera Serial Database collects very little. This page says what, in plain terms.

What we collect

The only thing collected is usage statistics from Google Analytics: which pages are viewed, roughly where from, and on what kind of device. Analytics sets first-party cookies to tell one visit from another. Only the page address without any query string or fragment is sent, so the serial number you search for is not sent. If your browser sends Do Not Track, analytics is not loaded at all.

What we do not collect

There are no accounts or sign-ups, and no advertising or ad personalisation. The site does not collect payment details today and does not offer anything for sale.

Sharing

Analytics data is processed by Google under its own privacy policy. It is not sold, and we do not share it with anyone else.
